Volunteers in green aprons handing a welcome kit to a newly arrived family in a warmly lit community hall at dusk.

Get Involved

Hope is built by many hands.

Give, volunteer, or partner with us. Every hour and every gift widens the welcome for a family in Dallas–Fort Worth.

Why it matters

A place of welcome, safety, and support — only because people like you make it possible.

Most of our clients arrive with very little and a great deal of courage. They are not asking for charity. They are asking for a fair chance — to work, to reunite with family, to keep their children safe, to belong.

Your gift or your time becomes a class, a translation, a ride to an interview, a case review by a licensed attorney. It becomes someone’s first calm breath in months.

Volunteer

Every skill has a place here.

You do not need to be a lawyer or speak Spanish to be useful. You need to be reliable and kind.

  • Interpreter

Help a client understand an appointment or a document. Spanish first; other languages welcome.

    2–4 hrs/month
  • USCIS ride volunteer

Drive a neighbor to an immigration appointment in the DFW metro.

    1 weekday morning/month
  • English & Math tutor

Work with a small group of adult learners during clinic hours. Training provided.

    2 hrs/week
  • Citizenship test coach

Practice civics and English questions with a student preparing for their interview.

    1–2 hrs/week
  • Welcome desk greeter

Be the first kind face someone sees when they walk in. Warm smiles required.

    3-hr shifts
  • Pro bono professionals

Attorneys, paralegals, and translators — flexible hours, meaningful work.
